Comforted by a Book

In honor of National Book Lover’s Day, I wanted to share a story of a memoir I wrote last year. I was recently made aware of a woman who received my book in the mail as a present to help give her peace after the death of her mom. (You Don’t Know Jack! : How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence of Afterlife) Her contacting me was so meaningful because she shared an emotional story of her newfound awareness that her mom’s spirit was not gone and that she was actually still around her. She found it so comforting and planned to pass it forward to help others grieving the passing of a loved one. You see my book was the story of my own loss and how my late husband’s spirit sent me so many signs after he crossed. And they weren’t just any signs…they were exactly what he said he would do if he passed before me. He actually kept his promise.

After I journaled a year’s worth of amazingly personal signs, complete with context, timing, and synchronicity, I wrote “our” book. There is no question in my mind my late husband, Jack, was providing the content for this loving message that we don’t die. We cross over and our consciousness remains as energy, manifesting with memory and personality from our physical life. And now the book seems to be landing in the hands of those who need it most to be comforted through their grief, as well as to bring peace for those who want to be assured there’s an afterlife.
