TALES FROM THE BOBBI LAMA

The book I wrote, about my late husband, was filled with signs, messages and various communications from him that were just too coincidental. So much happened that defied explanation or were timed too perfectly, and yesterday was no exception.

Yesterday was truly bittersweet. It was the 2nd anniversary of his transition, as well as the release of “our” book, You Don’tKnow Jack! How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence of Afterlife, and I believe he wanted me to know he was around, supporting me as he promised he would. First thing in the morning, my friend Yvonne (through whom he seems to contact me) had her ring doorbell do it’s rings with no one there. (He’s done that before and has become the “ring master” as of late.)

A little later in the morning, I received two huge, long boxes on my front porch from 1-800-Flowers labeled “Live Plants Handle with Care” with a big, blue “Up” arrow showing the FedEx guy they were to be been delivered vertically. When I answered the doorbell and saw them lying on their sides, I knew there would be a wet, dirty mess inside the boxes. However, once I pulled out the plants, I realized they were gorgeous gardenia bushes…my favorite smelling blossom. I read the cards from the two boxes, and they were exactly the same, from the same person and the same message. I was surprised there were two, but thrilled by the present.

I called the sender to thank her for those two luscious shrubs, and she said, “Two?” There was a pause, and I knew immediately something was wrong and wondered if she double-clicked the order by mistake. She called the florist who assured her she only ordered one, paid for one, and one was shipped out. Once again, there was no explanation. At this point I’m not surprised by strange unexplainable happenings anymore. So I wondered if Jack’s Spirit could cause the duplicated order from the other side. Hard to imagine, right? And if he did cause the error (electronically changing the “1” to a “2”?) to cause me to receive an entire gardenia bush, I would not be surprised. It was our big release day, anniversary of his passing, and my favorite flower. Plus he never went small when it came to gifts, and I had asked him for a sign when I woke up that day. It pointed at him…the “guity party” once again!

That night I took out the trash to the side yard where the motion sensor light had stopped working earlierthis year. As I approached the can in the dark, the flood lights went on, and my face just lit up feeling his loving presence.

I went back inside to keep working. It was late but I felt I needed to respond to all the people that had written to me about getting their book copies in the mail that day. I was getting tired and knew I needed to surrender to the wonderful day, get in my PJ’s and head for bed, but there were just a few more to answer. That’s when my computer keyboard froze up. Nothing worked, not even rebooting it. From my past experience, I knew to shut it down, and it would be fine in the morning, and it was. He always knew when I pushed myself too hard, or too late, and was always the one to suggest I stop and join him to watch tv. Yesterday, I felt like he called it once again…I was forced to stop working. I just figured it was him, did not worry, and turned in for the night.

As I closed my eyes, I felt so comforted by all the possible signs he did to let me know that he celebrated “our” book launch with me all day. And I can’t be sure if he had anything to do with our book becoming an Amazon Best Seller overnight, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
