“Gratitude Unlocks the Fullness of Life…”

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, and confusion into clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

by Melody Beattie

Both the quote and the Buddha picture popped up on my phone today, but I especially loved seeing the brightly lit red cardinal on his lap – like a sign from the other side. It served as yet another reminder of the good life I’ve had with my late husband, my daughters and their families, and such dear friends and family over the years… making the fullness of my life.
