Flavio “Possessed”

I have one of those robot vacuums, that I named Flavio for fun, and it has always intrigued me. How it bumps into every chair and table leg, changes course, and keeps going till somehow it finds its way back to the docking station to recharge. And it eventually vacuums the whole floor space even with all the turns and course changes. Amazing that it can be redirected over and over, with different circumstances each time I turn it on, and yet still always knows its way “home.” (I am fairly certain that if I was blindfolded and set out to move through my whole house being turned around and around, I wouldn’t have the directional sense in my head to automatically know what way to head to my “home based” recliner when I got tired.)

Anyway, a few days ago, as I was turning on the robot, I was also mentally “talking” to my late husband asking him to please help our relative who was in hospice and expected to transition. I truly related to her husband’s pain. “I hope you can be there for her so she can feel greeted with love on the other side, however you can do that,” I said to my late husband’s spirit. “And I would love a sign from you, as I’m needing it right now, too.” With that said, and Flavio was now turned on, I went about my morning grabbing the duster to clean up around the house. After about a half hour, I remembered the vacuum had been on but never came out of the bedroom (where the docking station is) and into the iving room. I found it was caught in a cycle of bumping into the nightstand, rotating a bit, bumping into the bed frame, turning a bit, bumping into the nightstand, and so forth. I watched it for a while to see if it was ever going to self-correct, but it didn’t. I ended up straightening it out and it moved a little only to get caught in another repeating pattern. An hour later, after several corrections to its constant crazy stuck patterns, I just decided it must be broken so I returned it to the docking station and took out my regular vacuum cleaner until I could deal with it.

The next day, I checked to see if it was still “posessed” and turned it on. It was fine, and was able to get out of every detour with just one, simple directional adjustment. That’s when it hit me. It had never had that kind of “programming error” before (no less so constantly), and it hasn’t since. Now I have to wonder if it was the kind of thing my late husband’s spirit could do to give me a sign. His strong energy from the other side has always amazed me since he passed with powerful temporary “glitches” in electrical, mechanical, or technical equipment (just as he had prommised he would), and not surprisingly always when I needed it most. “Possessing” Favio just might be one of those signs!
