Every March, I am beyond grateful for my family coming to visit me for a few days. I can’t fly and they are too far for me to drive to them, so this visit is extremely special. I always miss them all year, so I get so excited before they all come. I try to make sure everything is a perfect as I can make it. Two years ago, Covid made it too hard for them to come, and I really missed the hugs, jokes, and connecting. Last year, everything was simply wonderful with a lot of love and laughter, except for the fact that all the outside lanai lights went out, right as we sat around the outside table for dinner. It was the first time we had gathered since my husband passed so his sense of humor was missed. With all the unexplained happenings that had occurred at our house over the past two years, it definitely felt like he was right there with us with his humorous spirit getting our attention. ( I write about his antics in my book called You Don’t Know Jack! :How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence Of Afterlife.) He would definitely enjoy doing this “gotcha” to our family!
During this year’s family visit last week, the exact same thing happened. Keep in mind, all lights have been on for a full year now, but they all went out the very night my family arrived to sit around the table outside. Once again, we enjoyed blaming it on my late husband’s spirit with a lot of laughter. Of course, we can’t know how he did that, or if he did that, but the “coincidence” of it happening at the exact same gathering, at the exact same time one year later, begs the question…did his spirit crash our party?
